Agreed, but the customers on watchdog are not representative of every customers experience with ntl.

Don't be so facetious Neil, it doesn't suit you. I don't believe either Ian or myself were saying that the survey was wrong. Just that you can't judge a company on those results alone. Unless it suits you and you're entirely unable to accept that whilst some people have good reason to hate ntl, others do enjoy a genuinely good service?
