Just popped in to say thank you for this thread, a friend of mine had her broadband installed on saturday, after 7 and a half hours of trying to get the cd to work properly. and NTL telling her that she needs to ring microsoft

because SP2 caused this problem and there was nothing they could do i went round did it manually and bobs your uncle works fine. My friend wishes to say a big THANK you.
