When the people of this website were told of the upcoming changes, they were informed that there would be 'no active advertising' for 300k users, and they'd have to phone customer services off their OWN intuition in order to recieve the upgrade, otherwise they'd be kept at 300k with a 30gb limit. Which is very underhanded, claiming that 300k users are being upgraded from 300k to 1mb at NO cost, while in fact they are only being upgraded if they KNOW to phone about it, which they won't, as ntl have no plans on telling them about it.  |
I`ve just been on the `phone to cs about `downgrading`
my 1.5 mb connection for now and i was told to phone back a couple of days from the end of March because i would automatically be upgraded to a 1 mb connection for the same price!
No mention was made of any charge to me!
