I would imagine that NTL will not actively publicise the new speeds until the service is active and the relevant codes are on their systems. How many people are still asking the same questons on here about the upgrades? If customers were all told about the new speeds in advance the NTL switchboards would go into meltdown and stay in that state as customers tried every day to upgrade even though they may have been told the date of implementation and that date had not yet arrived.
