Cable Forum - View Single Post - Just got it installed and I've registered, but can't connect...(And I'm not clueless)

Interesting... I was just about to post to mention that at no point in my registration/installation was I asked for the serial number of my cable modem..... Could this be the reason? From what I've read this seems to be the first stage of registration, but it never happened with me!
Is there ay way of registering the modem without going through the process again? (which I assume you can't...)
