have a folder called images and put all your images into this folder
then you can make up a page like this

<td width="50%"><a href="images/first_photo.jpg"><img src="images/first_photothumb.jpg"></a> //first table cell with a thumnail as a link

</tr> //end table row tou can have a s many as you like

this is a basic way of doing it

EDIT: you can get a free program called easy thumbnail creator from http://www.fookes.com/it is a great wee program, you can make your pic any size of thumbnail you want for your table. it does not destroy your original it just copies but makes it the size you want, and adds tn_ to the start of your image.
