The reason for sale and how it was acquired look a little dubious.

my contract was less than a week from ending and i asked for a replacement modem, they complied the contract ended when it should have and i got a new modem, by the time this one arrived the contract had 1 day left so didnt even get installed, the old modem was taken by ntl and this one is now my property as ntl stipulate that at end of contract item belongs to customer.
