They have no idea of what costs are involved and whether a particular service is profitable or not. They assume that because one ISP can provide a cheap service that anyone charging more is making obscene profits. They never think that the cheap ISP may be selling way below cost to buy market share. NTL have done and still are doing a lot of upgrades to enable them to offer the forthcoming services. How much do you think all that has cost?

Don't tell me you don't believe they will be making an obscene profit on that tarif. 3gb bandwidth must cost NTL well under £1-2 at the bulk they buy it in.
