That seems to be what this does, it's listing the problem on the main status page as an ongoing issue.

Well that's your view, not one I particularly share.
The problem is listed in the current issues as an ongoing problem - other than keep adding comments to this along the lines of "nothing more to report" I'm not sure what else you are expecting to see. (I would find such updates a bit irritating after a while, but I can see that some people would prefer this approach

). Anyway, this is all a bit off topic so perhaps we should just agree to dis-agree and leave it at that.
