When I used to be with NTL I took part in a test in the Guildford area for short term 'turbo' broadband connections. You could have a couple hours a day where your speed was about 3 times the normal speed. As part of this test users could go to a page connected to their account, which told them how much they had downloaded/uploaded. It had totals for the days, week etc. That must be over 18 months maybe even 2 years ago, so they obviously have some means to collate this info. They had it almost 2 years ago for that test.
