I was looking at one until you told me I wouldnt qualify for it, due to some stupid clause been added to it.
The business and residential services are two completely different products.

Even your can of beans example would not be illegal in British law. There are many outlets that sell products to both retail customers and business customers with different prices for the two.

Business Lite does look cheaper on the face of it until you fully read the pricelist. The business prices are quoted ex VAT whilst residential prices are quoted inclusive of VAT. Add 17.5% VAT to the £34.99 price and work out if that is less than £37.99, or more.
