He bought a P4 machine in 1997? Impressive! (considering the actual processor wasn't on the market until 2000). You are of course aware than Alienware were also not distributing PC's in the UK back then?
Just get him to post his 3d Mark score to the Online Results Browser then he can share a URL with his spec (and I'll be able to tell you whether it's a good result for his machine or not)
