I have to confess that my heart fell a little when I saw this thread had been resurrected.....

Never mind, let's see if we can get this sorted for you.

What steps have you tried so far?

I would suggest (if you haven't already) that a complete reboot of the Modem, Router, and both machines, is in order.

Turn everything off, leave a minute or so, and then turn back on in this order (waiting between each device until it has settled):

Modem
Router
Desktop
Laptop

Post back and let us know how you get on with that and also what else you have tried.
