I signed up a while ago with Simply.com for some domain names. They were pretty cheap at about ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£8 a throw. They are now coming up for renewal and in the interim Simply.com have been taken over by names.co.uk.

I have no problem with the new company as the software they use is pretty good, and when I have changed hosts they have been easy to change the DNS and it has populated pretty quickly.

My issue is the pricing. To renew the domain names for a .me.uk domain the price is ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£23.49. This seems very high compared to what I paid.

Can anyone recommend another service which is good, and is it difficult to change your domain name service?
