This is not an NTL issue, afaik - any issues with websites not resolving is more often to do with the transparent proxy servers, than DNS.
Did your host not give you an IP address to use until the domain has propagated?

Yes it does come up on the IP address. But the domain has been on that ISP since 5th Jan so I would have expected all DNS servers to have sorted out by now. The odd thing is that using the domain name, I get the previous index.html (which is not on the ISP server any more), while using the IP address I get the new one. Do I just wait a few days? Not had this before - over nearly 10 years of doing this sites have always come up quickly after an upload.
