As said elsewhere - mea culpa - I accidentally deleted it. I have no complaint about NTL's service, quite the opposite. Only probs ever were either scheduled server upgrades, or a thicko with big shovel and small brain severing a street cable (twice!) - hardly NTL's fault!.
Have used e_mail for best part of 20 years, it's 99.999% reliable - personally have yet to experience an inexplicable failure. Sending "work" home by e_mail is routine ( for us, anyway) and has never failed.
I agree, it's unlikely that NTL (or any ISP) would respond to a "cry for help" of this nature from a private individual. Want to bet that officialdom (backed by Court Order) wouldn't succeed?
