In case you find things going down as all of NY as well as Detroit and into Canada, have
no power.
Not terrorist related but apparently a failure at a single sub-station that's caused a cascade across the eastern side of the US because the system is so old and no redundancy seems to be built in! Crazy.
This could explain outages on the net.
