Well this NTL guy I talked to didnt seem to know anything about the ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£25 charge and said we'd be automatically upgraded and it would be like "go to bed on 300k, and wake up to 1mb".
I guess time wil tell.

Most businesses do charge for transferring and although it probably doesnt cost them anywhere near that amount to do an upgrade, they need to put the money elswhere in the network so its a way of making money isnt it. But as its only a one off fee, then why not.
Seems good enough for what I'l be getting.
