It happends on all of my ntl mail boxes so effectively have no mail service at mo.

Happening to me too. Nowt on Service Status page though.
I should clarify - only just started happening to me. Had decent email service all week otherwise. If it helps anybody in the know, I'm in Bury, North Manchester
