Well i rang CS again today to be told the same thing i have nevr had 1471 or number withheld, and my ever favourite one "i am sorry sir you must be mistaken", which roughly translates to sorry sir you are lying!!. So 3 weeks today and i will be rid of NTL phone service for good. How on this gods earth they get away with treating people the way they do is really beyond me. This origianlly staretd by some Idiot restricting my phone service over a bill i had paid. They told me they couldnt find it so as far as they were concerned i hadnt paid it, When i said i had the receipt i would gladly fax it to them i was then told doesnt matter i had to pay the bill again, and if they found it they would credit it to my account. Needless to say i refused and my phone was restricted and so the saga begins.
