just make sure that your recording of the conversation is time date stamped and you have either issued the standard disclaimer at the start of the conversation or your equipment puts the annoying beep every 30 seconds onto the line/recording otherwise you wont have a leg to stand on anything you say 'they said' is merely hearsay.
Alternatively insist that NTL record the conversation and send you an unaltered copy (as if
