It's amazing how bitter people become after their teams' glory years are just a fading memory

What, like yours will be after you lose to Exeter, and in a few years when chelsea are cleaning up all and sundry...
Fact remains that Clough took a team of misfits and cheap players from 16thish in the second division to league champions straight after promotion, and the best team in Europe, twice in two years. That will NEVER be done again.
No-one can take that away from Forest. They'll be back as soon as they can remove that prat of a chairman.
And in any case. If bitterness were a pill Man Utd and their whinging idiot of a manager would have ODed on it and be in intensive care having their stomach pumped on a life support. Pfft.
This seems to have wandered anyway.
Chelsea are a joy to watch, play good, honest, football based on solid defending. Mourinho may not exhude classic one liners like SBC did but he's as close as one can get (Porto, european champions?

) to a modern SBC. There is nothing wrong with their spending. They only brought in 5 this year and I can't see them buying much more.
