Hello Peeps,

I wonder if you could help me?

I hve just gone frome NTL Home service to NTL Business they came out yesterday and done some re-cabling and added a nice new silver ambit 2020 modem. My problem is that now I can't get to my websever which is running from my pc, I use dynip.com for the ip changes and this picks up my new ip but the modem appears not to let anything connect the same is true if i run up a temporary ftp server.

The layout at the mo is the cable modem is connect via cat5 straight to my pc (although this will change once i get this issue sorted), i have contacted customer support and they are looking into it, they suggest that i should get a static ip address do i need this?

Lastly is there anyway I can connect to the modem and change the configuration? i have tried connecting to 192.168.100.1 and 10.0.0.2 and 192.168.0.1 but with no joy
