The building isn't what I'm wary about, it's the component compatability thats the worry.
edit-- I just looked up the spec on alienwares city-17 desktop

which comes in at about £2600 after vat and delivery.....and then went over to overclockers (for ease of use) and tried to compare the prices of the components.........It came to ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£ÃƒÆ ’‚£2119 excluding delivery of the bits and cost of fans and other misc. bits ..............
