After persistent problems with ntl WebEdge, I have switched to Gmail (thanks to invites from Chimaera and debsy42).

I set ntl WebEdge to forward my mail to my new Gmail account. I have tried "Forward and keep a copy" and "Forward and delete". The forwarding address in Options, Forwarding, is correct - copied and pasted from Gmail and it works if I then paste the same text in and send a message.

It won't do it. Nothing at all is forwarded. For a relative newbie this is a pain. What else should I do to forward mail?
