I do not think starting on the wrong footing helped matters.... Even by creating the thread with the title... 'General ntl rant' it doesn't link it to a specific issue and given by the fact that you are new here - rant threads like this in the past have caused nothing but aggro and was one of the reasons we moved away from being purely a rant site and now people tend to avoid threads, specially with 'rant' in the title, because it gives an indication that all the poster wants to do is flame ntl rather than get their issue sorted and this is probably, again, why a thread like this has turned out the way it has.
