Look in the following locations for this and remove it:
  • 1) Start > Run > type "msconfig" > hit Enter.
Look in the Services and Startup tabs.
  • 2) Start > Run > type "regedit" > hit Enter.
Find the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run and look for any references to the file.
    Also look in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run.
  • 3) Check Start > All Programs > Startup (assuming WinXP).
Thanks for this just to confirm I am using windows 2000 is it the same procedure ?

Regards

Mike
