...which, apart from being the most lame defence I've ever heard, proves he can not be trusted in a game as he will 'instinctively' drop to the floor under any contact in the game. Does 'instinct' also dictate staying on the ground as well?
Charge him with bringing the game in to disrepute for that and let's see a ban.

the thug and the play acting faker are both being charged by the FA. Maybe it will help Rooney realise that he has to either calm his temper down or at the very least make it a little less obvious next time
