probably only those who live in london
the phones work, its just the exchange that doesnt handle the caller id function, or line or whatever, in that area. the phones do work fine, and they work in other regions.
although i understand your frustration, the london part is kinda nothing to do with it
anyway, ntl are a mish mash of old cable networks, so they kinda didnt have that much control over it. not like bt who got to work on the whole countries system
