Re: Freecash and Testerup

Still thinking about it. The thought occurs that if I never try 'em, I'll never know.

However, 2 things are giving me pause for thought:

1) The $10 signup bonus was allegedly expiring at midnight, a 'limited time' offer. This was also true 2 weeks ago. How "limited" is that time?

2) Allegedly payments are on the same day. Impossible in the UK, the banks don't work that fast. Though IMO they should; it shouldn't take much longer to conduct any straightforward transaction than it takes to type it in. <sarcasm>Correct me if I'm wrong, but that was the whole point of computerising everything, to speed it up.</sarcasm>

(We need a 'sarcasm' smilie!)

<cynical>Of course that destroys the whole concept of interest.</cynical> Maybe banking should be rethought in 2020s terms, where computers are a fact of life, rather than 1920s terms, when computers weren't even an idea (various mechanical constructs and Ada Lovelace notwithstanding).

(We need a 'cynical' smilie. too!)
