Follow up to the 'buying online' fiasco.
Spent 10 minutes on the phone trying to get through to a human at the bank.
10 minutes of a recorded voice telling me which wonderful services they can offer me, and the apps & websites to use.
10 minutes of me repeating *
a certain naughty phrase* while waiting . . I read something online the other day about people giving abuse to AI, not surprised in the least . .
Anyway, eventually reached a pleasant woman who couldn't sort me out today . . . because after confirming all the security crap she threw at me that tied me to the account, I still need to be contacted by posted letter containing a code I have to ring back* and pass on to them.
*quite obviously another frustrating 10 minutes of uttering spectacular swear words at an inanimate object . . . such is life.
