Canada VPNs and Bill C-22

Putting this here because it is a current affair as well as IT Internet and Science and Technology so hard to choose .

Anybody who uses a VPN needs to watch carefully what is happening in Canada with Bill C-22
One of my VPNs is based in Canada and will be effected by this ruling and have threatened to move out of the country if it happens but I only use it for geo locks so it is not a problem who sees what I do

Bill C-22 is basically a proposed law where companies are forced to retain meta data and even allow back door access meaning you will simply not have any rights on anonymity. This is likely to be attempted all over the place and will mean in future more care will be needed when purchasing such services if anonymity is important to you
Always remember whatever you do on the net there are a number of EYES* watching you

*(The Five Eyes is an intelligence-sharing alliance between five English-speaking countries, while the expanded tiers like the Nine Eyes and Fourteen Eyes include additional European partner nations cooperating on signals intelligence.)
