I left VM five years ago, my old @ntlworld address still worked until about a month ago. I assume that VM have finally managed to work this out and initiated a clean-up. Still I've had five years to move important stuff away from VM, no doubt there are one or two I've forgotten and it'll bite me in the backside at some point - cross that bridge when I come to it.

And yes, far, far too expensive - £6 a month for 1 Gig storage? The early 2000s are calling demanding their usage limits back!

Of course they are relying on people not wanting to lose their old email address and are prepared to pay whatever to keep it.
