Thanks Guys for your help, about a week ago I had half a dozen films recorded & some tv programs the electric went off & I lost them all but today we have been getting power cuts 3 in total this time my recording are still there, so maybe it was just one of those things !
also my up & coming recordings are still set up to be recorded... All I can do is keep my eye on things & hope I don't get anymore problems.
