For 2024, Germany had a net figure of 1,236 immigrants leaving for other EU countries, out of 74,561 requests by Germany for them to be dealt with elsewhere. If we were in the EU, we would have to accept loads more. Under the EU/EEA rules for 2018, we may have been able to send 209 back to the EU, but had to accept 1,215.
