He said he’d have to pass any proposals through his legal team. That’s what he does, and it’s why he has been able to have all these investigations find that he’s done nothing wrong.

They want to be seen to be dealing with this robustly to avoid allegations of a cover-up - the kind of thing that other parties get accused of on a regular basis.

Funny how people prefer to prattle on about the smears rather than the policies. You wouldn’t believe there’s a Reform UK Conference going on, would you?
