Why can’t you? What prevents you from resetting your recordings to avoid the conflicts?

This was never a problem for me, and back in the day I could have had eight separate recordings going on at the same time - 6 on the TiVo and 2 on my Blu Ray recorder. I very rarely looked at the series link manager - there was no need.

If a conflict arose, I looked for alternative slots in the TV schedules and changed what needed to be changed.

These days, on my 360, I add most of my viewing to my watchlists on three separate profiles - one list for me, one for my wife and one for both of us. That works much better for me than recordings. But each to their own.

Is there something I’m missing here?
No way of deleting a conflict. Only can modify the overlaps, which may make it into a non-conflict.
Not always alternative slots.
