The Mandela effect is a widely held false memory of a cultural artefact. The classic example is the logo for the clothing brand Fruit of the Loom, which many people insist was drawn with a cornucopia along with the arrangement of fruit, but never in fact was. It was always just a selection of fruit with no cornucopia, basket, plate or anything else.
