What it suggests to me is that nobody - even those closest to the action - has yet properly appreciated the potential for chaos represented by AI.
Cut them a little slack though. The AI agent exploited software flaws
nobody yet knew existed in order to break out onto the internet. It’s not as if they just left it running on a standard windows machine and then left it unsupervised to do its own thing over the weekend.
