I'm with Richard on this one, it takes too long to get any savings from solar panels and batteries, and "Saving the planet" is just greenie nonsense. As has been noted in previous topics, even if the whole of the UK stopped producing any CO2 at all, it will still have practically no effect, we produce around 1% or less of global emissions
