There's a lot of info in this Stanford University report, but one point really stood out for me

We've been told "the future is AI", and it appears to be dependant on one foundry in a country that is under constant threat from it's very large neighbour, China.

The (almost) single point of failure for the World's economy - what could possibly go wrong?
The single (almost) point of failure is higher up the chain imho, look at ASML headquartered in the Netherlands



Separately,
Gen AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini are ok for a bit of fun or light work. But the very scary stuff starts when you look at things like Palantir AIP
