Nope they are used by all sorts of people including governments when they want to reduce the chances of a transaction being traced, as anyone who says Crypto exchanges cannot be traced, don't understand how they work.

It's not difficult to trace a Crypto transaction after all, when you move funds, each time you do it, there is an entry to a ledger, it doesn't matter who own's the currency etc there is just a transaction ID linked to the funds from "Wallet A to Wallet B" and all you need to know is one end of that Transaction and you have the whole trail.

Crypto get's used for all sorts of things, yes bad things, some very very very bad things, but those sorts of things also get purchased with real cash, bank transfers, jewels etc, it can always be traced, unless you are using something like "Uncut raw diamonds" and other stones/gems which makes it more difficult but still not impossible to someone with the ability to trace them via minerals etc in the stones.


People give Crypto a hard time because they don't understand or don't like it because Governments cannot control it as easily or typically as easy as they can with cash and other forms of currency.


My only issue with Crypto is the volatility of the price, with the likes of Bitcoin hitting over $100k per coin and now down at what $80k a coin??, imagine buying 100 coins at $90k each and losing $10k on each, and with the way the Governments of the world are going, it's going to go down even further because of Net "let's destroy the global economies" Zero.

This is why when/if I ever manage to find a company willing to give me a job with permanent home working due to medical issues and caring responsibilities, I will start buying £100 worth of Gold every month because when the Governments cripple the economies which is going to happen and cash become worthless which is going to happen, I will have something that will be worth something.
