Yeah, I mean it was 20 odd years ago but now they mention it, I vaguely recall shopping around online for a car purchase loan. I mean, I must have got one from somewhere, we definitely didn’t have that kind of cash in the bank. At the same time I was browsing Motorpoint’s website for the car we wanted. I don’t have any paperwork now, and I’m not sure my online banking statements go back far enough to see who repayments were going to. No matter though, the mis-selling scheme is specific to car dealers acting as finance brokers, which Motorpoint definitely weren’t in my case.
