Being "highly educated" doesn't really mean much in most jobs.
Today many people get degrees in subjects which have nothing to do with the jobs they later get selected for due to them being "highly educated".
They have no idea what to do in their new roll as they know nothing about that field. The thing they achive most is upsetting the people they are meant to be managing as it is soon obvious they have no idea of the jobs they are managing and have no people management skills.
An uneducated person who has worked their way up through a company is often worth ten "highly educated" people who know nothing about the area they are paid to work in.
Most people in call centres have never even seen the kit they are providing support for and have never used it or even seen a video of it working. It is not their fault that these companies choose to provide support by using staff with "no idea". But these staff can be "highly educated" and also "useless in their current roll".
Being "highly educated" does not mean being "highly knowledgeable"
