Hmm, even after I had disabled everything I could (and screaming at the things windows wouldn't let me disable), I went to turn the PC off last night and was met with the announcement that the latest version of this junk had downloaded (again? ) and is ready to install.
*pause for another 5 weeks*
Today, looking once again at various settings, I also noticed "allow remote connections" has turned itself on
It's like buying a car and letting a complete stranger drive it everywhere
