Next week Intelligent Octopus Go is dropping its electricity rates - day rate down from 28 to 26, night rate down from 7 to 5p. Just in time for us becoming an all-EV household.

That’s the big one on our 7kW wall box and the little one on a 3kW three-pin granny charger. The dishwasher is also on, taking advantage of cheap rate running overnight.
So we’ll be sucking the national grid dry on a nightly basis and thankfully avoiding the disastrous prices the local garage is now charging for petrol.
