There is a McDs at the bottom of Union street at the four corners. The station already houses a large hotel called Central Hotel. Thankfully the fire did not spread to that.

Seeing that building gutted by fore is heart breaking. Walked past it almost everyday and was also the location of a well known chippy - The Blue Lagoon.

A large number of businesses were withing the building including a tattoo shop, beauty salon and many others. Feel sorry for all those small businesses the most.

Station closed till at least Wednesday, with buses taking big diversions as Union Street was the main bus route to south of the city.
