I did Thinkbroadband for years with both my VM and Zen connections. The Zen graph was usually very clean with not much happening whereas the VM chart was far "noisier" latency wise. Also it would regularly go red with 100% packet loss even though the connection was still working. I suspect the pings were being blocked but could only resolve it by either enabling/disabling flood protection or rebooting the router.
Has the price of the 900 meg service gone down? it was £50 last time I looked (openreach service).
