VM residential is a 'sticky' IP and mine in around 20 years has probably changed about 5 times max.

I was diagnosing an issue for a customer and done a rDNS check on their broadband connection which is with PlusNet and was amazed to see their name there in the PTR, for instance 'fredbloggs.plus.com'

No idea if that is residential or business with PlusNet and not sure if the PTR record can be changed in the portal or is set for you, but thought it was cool to see and it was obviously static.
