Most of sense what you've said about waste & bureaucracy to be right. But that's too glib. A lot of detail and specifics are necessary. Also cutting back on the government payroll has to be done addresses some of the waste and bureaucracy. It's cheaper to pay them on the dole than on wages. It's brutal what has to be done.
However, to recognise some of what you said, an instant start needs to be made on the planning system and associated environmental constraints, particularly bats, newts, the cost of surveys, bat hotels and so on. Then it'll annoy the EU and so it goes on. But we have our freedom to annoy them and be more efficient. But who can mastermind this apart from me, Carth and Papa?
